This colourful picture book tells a story of how time spent outdoors is crucial to maintain good eyesight, alongside numerous other health and cognitive benefits. Through the rhyming words and illustrations, we hope to educate children and parents about the dangers of myopia and encourage healthy practices to maintaining good eyesight.
This book is a collaboration with Singapore National Eye Centre.

Associate Professors Audrey Chia and Marcus Ang are the clinical directors of the new Myopia Centre and authors of Amanda the Panda.
The two eye doctors hope that parents may help children learn about good eye care in a fun and engaging way through their newly published illustrated childrenās book, which is suitable for thoseĀ aged three to eight.
